My name is Susie Meza I am a CSUF graduate. I obtained my BA in Mathematics, Secondary Education Teaching Credential, as well as my Masters in Mathematics Education from Cal State Fullerton. I am part of the first NOYCE Fellowship program at CSUF working with a cohort of 30 educators expanding from San Gabriel Valley to Orange County. I have worked with other programs such as AVID, GEAR UP, Upward Bound, and College Bound.
About The Classroom
I am currently teaching 4 sections of 6th grade Mathematics as well as 7th grade AVID, and 8th Grade Geometry. My students are infused with mathematical reasoning and sense making as they prepare and become adjusted to the Common Core State Standards for Mathematical practice. The NOYCE program has provided me with a forum of teachers to share best practices with which will allow me to promote the intellectual growth of my students.
